PRODUCT MANAGER
As part of the Marketing department and working in close collaboration with the production, monetization and user acquisition team, the successful candidate will manage, launch, promote and sustain a portfolio of social free-to-play games throughout their entire life cycle. This role is located in our production studio in Bucharest but you will also work and coordinate with our international teams including but not limited to local Marketing & PR Managers, web development studios, video production studios, artists, Community Managers and Customer Care Managers.
For each of your titles, you will be responsible for:

Product marketing:
- Identify the game’s target audience, positioning, values, and selling points;
- Create brand identity: title, packaging, and “story telling” around game’s scenario and characters;
- Conduct market researches, benchmarks, polls and consumer studies;
- Follow the game development stages and make recommendations to improve user experience, engagement, socialization and retention;
- Coordinate game’s approval with copyrights owner (Universal, Sony Pictures, Ubisoft, Marvel).
Global launch plan:
- Define the marketing strategy to create brand awareness and generate traffic and installations including but not limited to: press relations, promotion and partnership programs, social marketing actions, sales support docs for app stores merchandising, traffic acquisition recommendations;
- Coordinate implementation with local marketing & PR teams, Key Account Managers, Game Monetization & User Acquisition Manager, and partners;
- Create game’s promotional tools, including videos, web assets, screenshots, store descriptions and visuals, PR tools and all other needed assets for special marketing initiatives;

Game Evolution:
- Measure and analyze game users’ feedback, behavior, and market’s acceptance. Share results & recommendations with game’s production team and top management;

- Prioritize bugs fixes and user experience improvements, following up on the game updates schedule with production team and monetization manager;

Game Economy Designer
Overview

As a Game economy designer, your responsibility is to understand how a game works as a service for its customers and how the customers behave in it, identifying and developing the purchase drivers in the game economy context, and providing constant data-driven recommendation on design, tuning and pricing in order to improve game financial performance.

To do this, pre-release, you’re able to design the virtual products a game will offer, define metrics that allow you to individually measure their impact in a given title, and work closely with the development team to see those design refined and metrics implemented.

Once he game is launched, you’re able to analyze the collected data and report which are the performing/underperforming aspects of the game economic model, why, and provide solutions to Gameloft management.

Your day to day duties include:
- Defining the virtual products and their statistics with the development team, and understanding how each of them contributes to the game dynamics;
- Indentifying the potential sale drivers for the different product categories in the game economy, defining the key points of exposure for those drivers;
- Balancing the needs for those virtual products, their relation, life cycle, and their streams of availability;
- Managing pricing as to create specific price point roles, implement selling strategies for higher price points;
- Regularly provide user feedback and stat/price point tuning to development team based on play-testing, both during game development and post-release;
- Analyze the evolution of the metrics you defined to spot both monetization bottlenecks and facilitators, then report suggestions for the game design or strategy accordingly.
This is a position requiring a mix of strong economy and marketing knowledge with passion for analytical game design and the emerging free-to-play business model.

Cerinte
- Cunostinte foarte bune de C++ si experienta de programare in C++ de minimum 3 ani
- Cunostinte de 3D math (algebra lineara, vectori etc.)
- Experinta de lucru cu Open Gl, Direct 3D,Direct X

Creates and animates characters and 3D objects and reviews these assets in the game. Gets involved in the creation process by interacting with the game designer, art director and producer of the project.

Requirements
- 2 years of experience in 3D Studio Max, Maya or a similar 3D development tool
- Clear understanding of character motion and physics-based motion
- Ability to give style to animations (characters, vehicles, objects etc.) with an accent on exaggerated movements
- Can work well using existing assets (2D concepts/3D objects already modeled) and references
- Working experience on PC or consoles (DS, PSP, Wii) is a plus
- Understanding of rigging and skinning techniques is a plus

A TRC Specialist / QA tester works with programmers to isolate conditions for repeating found bugs and verifying fixed bugs for video games developed on various gaming devices ( Apple iPhone, Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii etc.)

Requirements
- Has ability and patience to perform detailed testing.
- A sharp eye for details, capacity to stay on course, as well as the intuition as to when to veer off the planned track, following a hunch to trap a new bug.
- Good spoken and written communication English skills and be able to work with varied staff members and personalities.
- Posts a clear and accurate description of each bug found in the QA database.
- Capacity to follow checklists with precision.
- Able to give and accept positive as well as negative feedback.
- Ability to identify what is required by checklists and being prepared to provide it.
- Working knowledge on Windows operating system and related hardware.
Other qualifications and/or requirements
- Working knowledge on most popular console platforms and related hardware is an important plus.
